Gehrenspitze west ridge

Condition: climbs up to 1,000 meters in altitude. Walking time between 6 and 8 hours, depending on the weather, the condition of the path and the condition of the group.


Technique: You are sure-footed and have a head for heights in the pathless, rocky terrain and mastered the 5th degree of difficulty in the second ascent on the rock.


Procedure: We meet at 7:30 a.m. at the valley station of the Gimplhaus cable car. Ascent via the Sabachjoch to the start (walking time approx. 2.5 hours, 700 m elevation gain). Arriving at the Gehrenspitze, we descend via the Gehrenjoch to the Schneetalalm. After a short stop, we return to the starting point.

Is there rental equipment?

** The rental equipment is marked on the equipment list. However, any damage or loss must be charged.

What happens in bad weather?

If the weather forecast is so bad that the tour cannot be carried out, we will cancel the tour and try to find an alternative date. There are no costs from my side.
